To ensure that drivers always know which kind of lamp is required for their vehicle, there is the App "Vehicle Light" for iPhone and Android to assist them in their choice.
With this app users have the option to find the right product for their vehicle model. For every version and every luminaire, ranging from the headlight beams, the indicator and brake lights, right up to the reversing lights, this tool lists the matching lamps.  
The app also simplifies the search for the suited lamps for motorbikes and numerous models of the most important manufacturers of trucks.

Technical Requirements

1. Which mobile platforms are supported by "Vehicle Light"?

Apple Devices:
The app "Vehicle Light" works best with an iPhone apparatus higher than 3G and platform version above OS 4.0. The app has been compiled for a minimum operating system version of OS 3.2 and all current appliance versions of iPadTM, iPod® and iPhone. "Vehicle Light" is fully functional for said devices and OS versions - the performance restrictions will merely consist of minor interferences in the animation fluency.

Android Devices:
"Vehicle Light" is available for all Android devices version 2.1 and higher with best results.
At the moment Tablets or Tablet-PCs are not supported.
"Vehicle Light offers all the functionality for all Smartphone’s that work with Android OS 2.1 or higher. At lower operating system versions, the application "Vehicle Light" is not supported.
Other mobile platforms and according smartphones such as Android handhelds are not supported.

2. Does the app require any further configuration?
To provide up-to-date and valid references, the app collects its content from an online data storage of current vehicle models, OSRAM products and functions. "Vehicle Light" will therefore require an internet connection, and will inform the user on connection failure.

Financial Details

Which costs are connected to the "Vehicle Light" application?
As of this moment there are no costs involved in the download of "Vehicle Light" from the App Store or the Android Market. The app does however require an internet connection to enable it to collect most up-to-date information from an online data storage, so whilst running the app outside of a wireless network the cost rates of the mobile provider will come into effect.
